We were proud to support this important Prostate Cancer Awareness event at Fabrica, Oxford, and to provide the venue for such a meaningful community initiative.

The event brought together individuals with lived experience, healthcare professionals, and local supporters to raise awareness of a disease that affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. Through open and honest conversations, attendees gained valuable insights into the importance of early detection and regular health checks.

A key highlight was the provision of PSA testing on the day, helping to encourage proactive conversations about men's health and giving attendees access to an important screening opportunity.

Thank you to everyone involved in making the event such a success, particularly Helen Bedford and Sara Stothard at Bowmer and Kirkland Ltd for organising the event and Mark Varney, Nick Sturge MBE and Sanjiv Kanwar for sharing their personal experiences and helping to break down the stigma around discussing prostate cancer.

By working together to raise awareness, we can help more men recognise the signs, seek advice earlier, and access the support they need.
